It is open to Islington residents only, though very occasionally from Camden in special circumstances. One must have a mental health problem, and a referral is necessary for the rest of their services – from a health professional, including a social worker. One must also either be on a low income or unemployed. Community Care CentresOpening hours Monday – Friday 9 am – 4.40 pm These are the offices where the community mental health teams are based, and where psychiatrists and social workers can be found, as well as psychiatrists and CPN’s (community psychiatric nurses). They are only open to Islington residents.
